Discovery week

Who is this course for?

Our Discovery Weeks are designed for groups who want to practise English outside the classroom. These groups discover more places of interest, completing project work and interacting with native speakers. The objective is to discover the purpose of learning English: to develop valuable skills which will create opportunities for them – not just another subject they study at school.

The projects have been written by our teachers with educational and linguistic objectives. However, the courses are delivered by activity leaders as they are part of the daily excursions.

  • Visit places of historical cultural and social interest
  • Specially-designed project work for each visit
  • Build your video diary to take home
  • Enjoy a varied evening social programme
  • Stay in our on-site student residence

Your Social Programme

Enjoy a specially-designed social programme of activities, projects and excursions to meet your group’s needs and interests.

  • Guided tours to explore new towns and cities
  • Fun evening activities
  • A personal video diary of your week at Broadstairs English Centre
